With a tall, flat-sided body, water glides over its head to back, and creates flailing action in the shallows. It imitates a weakened bait fish that seabass can’t resist. A slow to medium speed retrieve is recommended. A swaying action is easy to do, awakening the predatory instinct of seabass.
A dead-slow retrieve creates a trailing wave like a topwater lure. A wide range of uses are possible depending on the situation, including swaying flash with rod strokes.
